The Brookfield Craft Center is offering an exciting opportunity for our communities’ youth, ages 6 to 16, to explore their creative energies in our 2018 Hands-On Art summer youth program.

Kids can discover their inner artisan with 8 Sessions that will be held in July and August. Half-day programs in Ceramics, Fiber Arts, Glass, Blacksmithing, Drawing and Painting and more. Students have the opportunity, working with our faculty, to create their own works of art. There will be multiple projects in each class.

Every class has an experienced teacher and assistant. Small class sizes allow your child to receive a lot of attention. Space is limited and classes fill quickly. Early sign up is encouraged.

Classes will run the weeks of:  July 9 – 13, July 23 – 27, August 6 – 10 and August 20 – 24 (Each week has morning and afternoon sessions) Each morning session is from 9:00 – 12:00. Afternoon sessions are from 1:00 – 4:00. A lunch time session is available for children staying on campus between programs.

Classes will include: Lampworking (glass beadmaking), Fused Glass, Pottery, Fiber Arts (weaving, fashion illustration, block printing), Blacksmithing, Painting and Drawing. Online registration is available here.
